# 2026-02-26 Session Notes
## Session Initialization
Session began at 07:55 UTC. User invoked the interface-design skill to begin work on adding a backdata collection feature to the watchtower terminal UI.
## Task Scope
The objective is to design a user interface within watchtower that enables users to pull and collect historical market data (backdata). The interface-design skill was loaded to guide the design process following craft-first principles: exploring the product domain, defining user intent, identifying signature elements, and avoiding generic defaults.
## Status
No design work or implementation has occurred yet. The skill documentation was loaded to establish methodology before proceeding with exploration and proposal phases.
