Brainstorming Session for Signet Features
Nicholai initiated a brainstorming session to identify the most impactful new feature to add to the Signet project. Rather than speculating, an Explore agent was tasked to audit the current codebase and understand what's been built, what's half-built, and where gaps exist between vision and reality.
The exploration focused on six key areas: the VISION.md north star document, daemon pipeline and scheduler capabilities, the predictive memory scorer implementation, dashboard functionality, the scheduler system, and available connectors and their capabilities.
The session had just begun reading VISION.md, which frames Signet as a foundational layer that elevates LLMs from stateless autocomplete to persistent, autonomous agents with identity, safety, and long-term autonomy (days to months without human intervention). This vision-to-reality gap analysis would inform feature prioritization.
