Brief Social Check-in

Nicholai opened the session with casual conversation about working as usual. The primary discussion centered on understanding how the memory injection system works in Signet from the assistant's perspective. Nicholai asked whether memories are visible being injected alongside each message sent.

The assistant confirmed that memories are indeed injected with every message, currently showing approximately 15 relevant memories per turn. These memories are scored by importance and recency, and appear in a dedicated "Relevant Memories" section within the system context alongside identity files (SOUL.md, IDENTITY.md, USER.md) and available secrets.

No code work or technical tasks were undertaken. The conversation was exploratory in nature, with Nicholai potentially considering adjustments to memory surfacing behavior.

Key Observation

The memory injection pipeline is functioning and visible—memories flow into the context with scoring applied based on relevance metrics.
