Authentication

ClickUp MCP supports two authentication methods:

1. Personal API Token (recommended for development):

   • Get your token from: https://app.clickup.com/settings/apps
   • Set CLICKUP_API_TOKEN environment variable

2. OAuth2 (for production apps):

   • Set CLICKUP_CLIENT_ID, CLICKUP_CLIENT_SECRET, and CLICKUP_OAUTH_TOKEN
